Refit of Interior Office space for use as refugee housing.
Assisting our long term client to produce this seven bedroom Refugee housing scheme in Peterborough was one of our most challenging and rewarding projects in recent years. utilising the disused office space above their Peterborough branch, Leeds building Society created a sanctuary housing project for small families fleeing the war with Russia; providing high specification living areas, canteen , wash facilities and laundry, right in the heart of the City.Strip out and CAT A preparation works, removal of old electrical and HVAC systems.Drylining, partitions, MF ceilings and insulation installed.New M&E installations; including power distribution, lighting, alarm systems, ventilation and heating.Kitchen and fitted bathrooms installations, joinery and plumbing works, Vinyl floors installed.Plastering, finishing, decorations and furniture complete.

This extremely rewarding project helped give many families safety and security in troubling times, our teams worked tirelessly to guarantee the best possible space to live was created in as short a period of time as possible. The end client was presented with a high specification finished project, that they could be proud to hand over to the housing group who would go on to take care of the Ukraine families for years to come.
